inpatient post op then d/c home

Pt. has surg. 6/11 and discharge 6/16/2010..day 6/12, 6/13, 6/14, 6/15 are post op days cpt 99024, would the discharge day be 99024 or the discharge cpt 99238

need to see global period. Are you billing for surgeon? If still in the global, you cannot bill 99238 if you are the surgeon
