Can't figure out the code for anemia due to gastric cancer

I am trying to find an answer- I am a student and my book is looking for a single code... Which I don't think there is- I am thinking 285.22 and 239.0

285,22, question is which are you treating? This will determine what your first-listed code is (anemia 285.22 or the neoplasm code)

The text book i am learning from just says to code the diagnosis for "anemia due to gastric cancer." I looked thru the icd9 guidelines and found 285.22 and the notes under it state "it is necessary to code the associated neoplasm." The text book only allows one line for the answer, and usually it gives two when there are two codes, so I thought I was missing something.
