Is there a HCPCS code for billing a screening cardiac stress test for medicare? I billed a 90315 with a v81..2 dx and they denied stating it is not a medical necessity. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

no, there is no code since screening stress test are not a covered benefit for Medicare. If the patient patient wants one, they should sign an ABN. If there is a symptom, use that code, such as CP, SOB
