PTNS and SNS

My Urologist is doing Ankle Stim treatments (PTNS) can we bill for the supplies? If yes, what codes do we use? We are billing PTNS with 64999, old way was using 64555, most articles indicate the unlisted code is the correct one to use.

Posterior tibial nerve stimulation is considered investigational by some payers including BCBS

It's still unlisted

and that must be a bad thing if they will not even give it a code! Perhaps you should have the patient sign an ABN
