Patient's atty holding our checks.

We saw an MVA patient. The auto carrier sent the checks to the atty's office and they are supposedly in our name and the biller cannot get him to send the checks. Have you heard about this before and what did you do or could you do?

Call the patient and explain in a nice way what has transpired- you provided them the service, they owe you the money.

if you billed the ins.co directly, then you can call the in. co and inquire about the checks and who they are made out to.ifyouu find out your name is on the check with the patient, then they CAN NOT cash them without your dr.s signature and/or bank stamp on them....very unuasal for an ins co to mail an attorney checks that are not made out to them.what state is this in?
