minor procedure in office

A patient that will be released from the hospital as an inpatient, is scheduled at the physician's office for a minor procedure on the same day. Can the minor procedure be billed to Medicare? I was under the impression that it could be billed. No E/M billed. Only the procedure. Is this correct?
