Inpatient Infusion adminstration
Are inpatient IV infusions adminstration -chemo separately billable on an hourly basis or are they included in the room and board? any resources are appreciated.
my guess
is that this will be like blood transfusions- you can bill one unit per day. For blood transfusion, it is an approved Medicare RAC target for audit. Google RAC blood transfusion for resources

The hospital will receive payment for all listed items based on DRG assignment, this is based on diagnoses submitted, not CPT codes.
