pap dmear on post hyster patient

Hello! I have been using the codes v76.47 and v88.01 for patients that are in the office for a pap smear and have had hysterectomies. These codes are being rejected for me. Are they incorrect?

What is the reason they are rejected? Who is rejecting (insurer?). They are valid codes. What CPT code are you billing.

skip the V88.01- the V76.47 code is in the CMS list of approved codes for paps so there is no reason to dirty the water with the other code.
