GI Cocktail

I have a provider that give a GI cocktail to determine in a patient is having GI problems or heart problems. She wants to know if she can bill this or is it part of the E/M service.

Can anyone help me with this situation?

GI cocktail

Insurers usually do not allow extra payment and include it in E/M. Some have tried 99070, but Medicare does not reimburse. Nine times out of ten you will not see additional payment. Not the "J" codes because a GI cocktail is given orally.
