E/M for hospitalists

We have a Rehab IP facility as well as an acute IP facility. We are wondering if the hospitalist from acute sees a patient on Rehab as well as the Rehab physiatrist "hospitalist" on the same DOS can they both charge an E/M level?

Sure- different specialties. But be sure the visit is medically necessary and not just a social visit
