Hi, We are billing 90718 with admin 90471 for adult and submitting to MCR. But always we are getting denial "not covered" by MCR. What is the correct admin and diagnosis code. We are using diagnosis V06.5. We have searched MCR preventive services quick reference. But we did not get correct information. We are requesting proper solution for this denial. If you, we are thankful to you.

They do not cover routine immunizations except (Flu, Hepatitis B, and pneumovax). Patient is responsible for payment.(Part B).
If they have a Medicare prescription drug plan (Part D), you may be able to get coverage for other types of vaccines such as the vaccine for shingles (herpes zoster).

I believe medicare will pay for a tetanus vaccine for an injury, use the contusion codes
