Setting fees for lab panels

Hi,
How are fees set for a panel such as this example below that includes multiple units per CPT® code?
Here's an example:

Cystic Fibrosis Mutation Analysis, 106-Mutation Panel
83788 x 8-Mass spectrometry
83890-Molecular isolation or extraction
83900 x 8-Amplification, target, multiplex, first 2 nucleic acid sequences
83901 x 89-Amplification of patient nucleic acid, multiples, each additional nucleic acid sequence
83912-Interpretation and report
83914 x 106-Mutation identification by enzymatic ligation or primer extension, single segment, each segment

How many units are allowed per CPT® code to be billed?
Thank you.

Want my advice? Send the insurance info to the lab and let them bill for it. These are usually expensive tests and if you take on the billing, it could be a big financial loss. Some things are not worth it. Now if you do a lot of these, it may be worth trying.
