icdPIX is the inventor of diagnosis code lookup for physicians using interactive images and a three click process. You know the diagnosis, which body part it relates to, and the cause or nature of the illness. But often you are not familiar with the language used in the official diagnosis codes set of descriptions. So the frustration begins.

You search using the usual keyword type lookup. Sometimes you get lucky, but when you don’t, it then spirals into chaos and eventually ends up with someone reaching for the cumbersome diagnosis code book. Not a picture of efficiency.

icdPIX makes the task of diagnosis code lookup easy. Click on the region of the body on our pair of anatomical models to reach an anatomical drill down of contents and cross sections (Don’t be overcome by a wave of nausea at the thought of returning to anatomy class, our images are simplified, and there is no formaldehyde). Click the organ or tissue which has the problem to reach our third layer. This contains a series of easily understood buttons to represent the etiology or nature of the problem, including the familiar suspects from the differential diagnosis mnemonic ‘VINDICATUM’, plus some additional categories to break things down more accurately. Once you have selected one of these, you will reach the code or group of codes you need, where you can easily identify the appropriate choice.

Our patent pending technology is currently in development and will be available for free use in Beta mode soon. Please contact us if you would like to be notified when this occurs, or read more about this new technology on our 'About' page.

Each of our pages display a different example of the 1-2-3 flow to give you a better feel of the functionality, feel free to browse to them to learn more about our easy icd lookup tool.
