I contacted AMA when they first started promoting their CPT® Network and
offering a 30-day free trial access to it and they gave me the following information:

1.     As a CPT® Assistant subscriber, if I have a question that is directly
related to CPT® Assistant, they will answer it.

2.     If I have a general coding question, and I am calling on
behalf of a physician who is a member of the AMA, they will answer it.

3.     If I have a general coding question, and I am not calling on
behalf of a physician who is a member of the AMA, I will have to sign up to
the CPT® Network to get my answer.
